About Tripura Chief Minister Balika Samriddhi Yojana
The state government launched the scheme to uplift the social status and financial capability of the economically weak citizens of Tripura state. The chief minister of Tripura State, Mr. Manik Saha, announced that the scheme will significantly reduce child marriage and allow the female citizens to pursue education. The financial assistance of INR 50,000 will be given to the families of two doctors, but they can only access the amount once their daughter reaches the age of 18 years. The parents can use the financial amount for the marriage or higher education of the girl child.

The main objective of launching the scheme is to allow the citizens of the state, get financial assistance for the better future of their daughters.
