About Nijut Moina Scheme
The scheme was first introduced by the Assam state government as an initiative to make education easy and accessible for all the students of Assam state. Recently, during the Cabinet meeting of Assam state, the Chief Minister announced that the state ministers have approved the budget of the scheme. According to the information, the Assam state government has approved INR 255 crore as a budget for providing financial assistance to all the female students under the scheme. This scheme will significantly enhance the ability of students to get an education and make education easy and accessible for all without any financial difficulty.
Objective of Nijut Moina Scheme
The main objective of launching the scheme is to allow the female students of Assam state to pursue higher education without any financial struggles. All the students who are studying in classes 11th to postgraduate will receive financial assistance according to the education they are receiving. According to the information, the students in class 11th will receive INR 1000 monthly for a total of 10 months. Students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree will receive financial assistance of INR 1250 per month for a total of 10 months, and students pursuing a postgraduate degree will receive INR 2500 per month for a total of 10 months.
