CMAAA 3.0 (Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 3.0) is an initiative of the Government of Assam that aims to encourage self-employment among the youth of the state. Through this scheme, eligible young people receive financial assistance and support to start small businesses. The government has officially announced the application start date for CMAAA 3.0 on the official portal. Eligible youth of the state can apply under the scheme from 11th March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
  • Age must be between 28 and 45 years.
  • Minimum education:
  • Class 10 pass for general category.
  • Up to Class 10 for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • The applicant must have the skills or knowledge to start an activity.
  • Must have a bank account opened before 1 April 2024.
  • The applicant should not be a loan defaulter.
  • Only one member from a family can receive the benefit.
