- Under the first phase, the government provides a 25% discount on the principal amount, and in the remaining two phases, the discount is reduced by 5%, which means a 20% discount in phase 2 and a 15% discount in phase 3 on the principal amount, respectively.

- Step 1:- All the interested applicants need to visit the official UPPCL Portal or go to the nearest electricity office or convenience centre.
- Step 2:- Once the applicant reaches the home page of the official website, they need to look for the option called New Registration or Register for Electricity Bill Relief Scheme
- Step 3:- As the applicant clicks, a new page will appear on the screen.
- Step 4:- Now the applicant needs to enter their details, such as District, Account Number, along with the captcha code shown.
- Step 5:- After that applicant needs to click on the Continue option for the next step.
