- Under this scheme government will provide an additional share for BPL consumers, 20% for economically weaker general consumers, and 30% for each SC and ST consumer. For this instance, for a 1 kb rooftop system costing Rs 50000, BPL consumers will pay only Rs 2500, while the rest 47,500 will be covered jointly by the state and Central Government.
