Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scheme, applicant needs to meet the following eligibility criteria’s these are as follows:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Applicant must be a youth of the state.
- The age of the applicant must be between 18 to 35 years at the time of application.
- Applicant must possess the necessary educational qualification relevant to the domain sector or trade for which they wish to pursue employment.
- Applicants with at least class 10th, 12th, or graduate-level education are eligible to apply.

- According to the reports, previously, the total fee was Rs. 3.6 lakh, where Rs. 1 lakh from the Assam government, Rs 50,000 from the Japanese Government, and Rs 2.1 lakh paid by the applicant.
- After a long discussion, the price has now been reduced to Rs 1.8 lakh, so from this point of view, the applicant will now only pay Rs 30,000 while the Assam Government and Japan will continue to cover Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively.
